From the Tsar's bastion to the Naryshkin bastion along the Neva curtain wall, passageways have been laid out affording a superb view of the city and the fortress. The walkway is guided by a recording in Russian recounting the history of the palaces lining the quay across the way. You may not understand a great deal, but you can still admire the view. The Tsar's bastion also contains artillery. The walkway gets windy at times, so be sure to wear the proper attire.
