Beschrijving
The worship of Our Lady of Ardilliers blossomed during the reign of François 1st with the discovery of a miraculous statue by a labourer. This handsome edifice, extended in the 17C, became one of the most popular pilgrimage centres with over 10,000 pilgrims a year. Of Italian inspiration, the 27m/88ft-high cupola is quite striking. The miraculous statue stands to the left of the nave, in the Richelieu chapel.
