Beschrijving

The magnificent extinct volcano of Ilchulbong resembles a superb natural fortress that has resisted the assault of violent tides and winds. Its black slopes plunge abruptly into the sea. However to the west, it stretches out in a long green belt, dotted with strange stone sediments and covered in lush green vegetation. A path of wooden steps leads to the top which at 182m dominates the crater swamped in unspoiled forest.
