The Baroque church of this hospital founded in 1667 by Don Miguel de Mañara houses some artistic jewels created by the best artists in Seville of the period. Examples include the crude realism of two paintings by Juan de Valdés Leal, Finis Gloriae Mundi and In Ictu Oculi. The main altar is adorned with a superb Baroque altarpiece by Pedro Roldán, the central panel of which comprises a sculptural group representing the Holy Burial of Christ.
