This cube-shaped castle, framed by corner turrets, is a rare example of Italian-style palaces on Austrian soil. The arcaded courtyard has three levels of galleries and a typical Renaissance style, with antique medallions, balustrades and door frames. In Summer, it hosts theatre performances. The very rich Museum of Popular Art (Museum für Volkskultur) is housed on the upper floors.
