De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This former Carmelite convent, founded in 1625, is now home to a museum. It contains a variety of objects, ranging from archaeological remains exhumed in Saint-Denis to the re-creation of a 17C-18C apothecary. A number of objets d'art retrace the everyday life of the Carmelites, the most famous of whom was Louise de France, the seventh daughter of Louis XV. The second floor is devoted to the Paris Commune uprising of 1871.
