Beschrijving
The Maloja Pass offers a view that plunges down to the beginnings of Val Bregaglia. You then come to a valley, over the course of which the Alpine plant life will gives way, from La Porta, to a more southern landscape of chestnut trees, vines and fruit trees. The valley is also the birthplace of Giacometti: the famous 20C artist born in Stampa and buried in Borgonovo. The itinerary ends with a flourish, at the picturesque perched village of Soglio.
