Velika Paklenica, one of the three zones of Paklenica National Park, which is entered by the town of Marasovici, is the main gateway to the Velebit range. It is in particular the best equipped, boasting a wide range of trails for all levels, hence its popularity with climbers, walkers and mountain bikers. The main path leads to a mountain refuge, past a canyon and the fork of Manita pec.
