Beschrijving

Home to the Palace of Europe, the Council of Europe encompasses the Committee of Ministers, the Parliamentary Assembly and the Secretary General. The palace was the work of French architect Henri Bernard. It is home to 1,350 offices and the largest hemicycle in Europe. Outside, a row of flag masts flies the colours of the Member States, indicating the date of each country's accession to the European Union.
