Beschrijving

This 1888 Renaissance Revival museum has undergone a major restoration and its exhibition areas have been extended and layout modernised. Its rich collections of stuffed animals from all over the world, submarine animals and major collection of birds come from the natural history collection of Jean Hermann (1738-1800). The museum is planned to become the spearhead of the "science district" that will be inaugurated with the opening of the new planetarium on Boulevard de la Victoire during 2021.
