Beschrijving
An astonishing Gothic Revival country house, Lyndhurst was designed in 1838 by Alexander Jackson Davis, the most prolific architect of country houses in America. The manse represents one of the finest residential examples of this style, associated more often in the US with churches and universities. Tiffany stained glass and a dark-wood Gothic interior accentuate the originality of the mansion.
