Begun in 1927, Bellingrath Home, a charming Mediterranean-style villa (1935) of brick and ironwork is set in some 80 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Soft-drink magnate Walter Bellingrath created this exquisite haven on the banks of the Fowl River. It is decorated with Mrs. Bellingrath's extensive collection of period furniture and Chinese porcelain.
