The Rives quarter huddles around the dark-brown rooftops of Rives-Montjoux castle. Residential towards the top, it stretches down to the port where working fishermen still moor and can be seen each morning, fishing local fish (arctic char or whitefish). Don't miss the fish auction at 9am! The funicular, built in 1888, links the port to the town centre, affording pretty views along the way.
