This lakeside castle facing the peaks of the Bernese Alps is an enchanting scene. Acquired in 1844 by the family of the counts of Pourtalès, it houses a museum devoted to its lords and ladies. In addition to touring richly furnished rooms, you will see a permanent exhibition devoted to the servants who lived in the 19C castle. The top floor of the keep boasts an unexpected Turkish smoking room, which commands a splendid view. The grounds overlook the Bernese Oberland.
