Beschrijving
This is one of the most important art galleries in Italy. Exhibited in the Palazzo Reale, its collections include masterpieces of Italian and Flemish painting and sculpture from the 13C to the 20C. The must-see pieces include St Francis Receiving the Stigmata (Van Eyck), Annunciation (Gentileschi), Scenes from the Passion of Christ (Memling), and the portrait of the Old Man Sleeping (Rembrandt). Modigliani, Lippi, Fra Angelico, Botticelli, Veronese, Rubens are among the other artists on show here.
