The Lingotto complex, formerly a Fiat factory, is a masterpiece of 20C industrial architecture. After the factory was closed, the building experienced a real renaissance thanks to Renzo Piano, who created a huge industrial exhibition centre in the south wing and a shopping centre, multiplex cinema, three hotels and the Giovanni and Marella Agnelli Pinacoteca art gallery in the north. The glass ball perched on the roof houses a meeting room for small groups.
