Beschrijving
This hydroelectric power station stands alongside the River Garonne on a site which was occupied by privately owned water mills as early as 1189. Built in 1889, the power station has a "fish ladder" which allows migrating fish (visible through a window) to continue their journey to the ocean without being blocked by the Bazacle weir. A 400m2 terrace with fine views of Toulouse allows visitors to observe the birds on the river and also acts as a venue for exhibitions.
