John Paul II Square in the heart of the old town of Trogir is a masterclass of architecture. Visitors come first and foremost to see the magnificent St Laurence Cathedral, whose western door is a jewel of Romanesque architecture. But you can also admire the superb Cipiko Palace with its triple-bay Gothic windows, the Renaissance façade of the town hall and the various styles of the 15C loggia (No 7). Finally, don't miss the Museum of Sacred Art.
