Beschrijving
Turku Castle, the most impressive in the country, has stood watch over the Aurajoki River estuary since the 1280s. Over the centuries, the castle has been altered, and models show how it has evolved. The very interesting Historical Museum plunges visitors into the tumultuous past of this building that is so dear to the hearts of Finns, and which features on the logo of Turku's famous mustard.
