Beyond the stone-built Ponte Pietra, this much restored theatre, dating from the reign of Augustus, continues to host drama and dance productions and music concerts. There is staircase and lift from the theatre up to the small San Girolamo convent (15C), home to a minor archaeological museum which commands a fine view of the town.
