Anse Carana, a lovely, steep-sided little beach, lapped by transparent water and framed by polished rocks, is peaceful, despite the presence of a luxury hotel with direct access to the beach, which rather mars the view. Remember to stay close to the shore, because the seabed rapidly drops, and swimming can be dangerous.
