Was Gozo where Ulysses stayed during his odyssey? No one can prove it, but the legend has cloaked the site in an aura of mystery that suits it well. Eight kilometres off the coast of Malta, Gozo is the vegetable garden of the archipelago and free of mass tourism, industrial development and merciless real estate promotion. Since the recent implementation of the Eco Gozo Programme, the island, popular with the Maltese, is on the way to becoming a 100% ecological destination.
