Beschrijving

Since August 1979, Vienna has been one of the United Nations' four headquarters, along with New York, Geneva and Nairobi. Several thousand people from over 110 different countries work at the Vienna International Centre (VIC), more familiarly known as UNO City, an 18ha-complex that enjoys extraterritorial status. It was built within the Donaupark according to plans by Austrian architect Johann Staber.
