Eén MICHELIN ster: verfijnde keuken. Zeker een bezoek waard!
Topproducten die met finesse bewerkt worden, uitgesproken smaken, gerechten die op een gelijkwaardig hoog niveau bereid worden.
This lovely 17C half-timbered farmhouse was reconstructed stone by stone in the Orangerie Park, next-door to the Council of Europe. The conservatory dining room and patio command a bucolic view of this leafy haven. Éric, Antoine Westermann’s son, is following in his father’s footsteps. The regulars applaud his decision to keep some of his dad’s specials, such as frog’s legs sautéed in chervil, served with “schniederspaetle” (ravioles invented by the house), or the restaurant’s trademark brioche dessert served with beer ice cream and baked pear – to die for! Éric has nonetheless developed his own distinctive culinary signature, crafting modern dishes which acknowledge, but do not bow down to local culinary traditions.
