Beschrijving
It was during construction works to build a bank opposite the cathedral, that the remains of the ancient Viking city were discovered. The museum is housed in the building's basements. Parts of the city walls were unearthed, along with major archaeological finds and vestiges of houses, a replica of which can be visited.
