Beschrijving
The Athens Museum of Islamic Art, inaugurated in 2004, was set up to house part of the rich collections of the Benaki Museum and loans from international museums. It covers thirteen centuries of creation, starting from the 7C, and includes pottery, glasswork, jewellery, sculptures, textiles and more.
