Beschrijving
The forward gate, rebuilt in the 19C, bears an inscription commemorating the siege of 1815. The guardhouse is followed by independent defensive features: drawbridge, portcullis and a second gate for the protection of Briançon. Today the building to the right houses a heritage centre.
