Beschrijving
Housed in the Monte fortress, once owned by the Jesuits, the Macao Museum charts the history of China and Europe up until the 16C. It also covers the early era of Macao and the development of trade. Fascinating from all points of view, visitors gain an insight into the inner workings of the colonial administration and how the particular character of Macao was shaped, as well a closer look into the local customs of Macao through ethnological collections.
