This art gallery is one of Italy's best museums of painting. Through 38 rooms, the visitor takes in the Venetian, Lombard and Central-Northern Italian Schools, from the 13C to 20C. Some real masterpieces await you, such as Bellini's Pietà, the Lamentation of Christ by Mantegna, Piero della Francesca's Montefeltro Altarpiece, the Marriage of the Virgin by Raphael, the intense Cristo alla Colonna by Bramante and the magnificent Supper at Emmaus by Caravaggio. An absolute must!
