This turreted Victorian summer home was completed in 1869 in granite with a mansard-style roof. The 62-room interior, including an art gallery, children's theater and a Moorish sitting room, boasts marble floors and mahogany and walnut woodwork crafted by Italian artisans. The grand staircase alone, with 266 balusters, allegedly cost $50,000.
