Beschrijving
The Keeler Tavern operated as an inn from colonial days through the early 20C. During the Battle of Ridgefield, April 27, 1777, a cannonball lodged in the wall post, where it remains to this day. This fact accounts for the tavern's nickname, the Cannonball House.
