Beschrijving
The Palace (15C), occupied by the Grand Masters until 1798, now houses the presidential administration of the Republic of Malta. The Palace State Rooms, linked by impressive corridors, are adorned with works by Grand Masters. The Council Chamber showcases unique Gobelins tapestries, while the Supreme Council Hall boasts magnificent frescoes. The Palace Armoury displays a rich collection of 6,000 weapons and armour. The shade of ficus trees in the two inner courtyards is most welcome.
