Beschrijving
Along the admirable and no less historical Great Dolomite Road, which starts at Bolzano, some 6km after the Val d'Ega Gorge via the S 241, is the Lago di Carezza. This small, translucent lake with brilliant colours is set in a dark sea of conifers, and dominated by the Latemar and Catinaccio massifs in the background. Depending on the season, the water level can vary by over 10m.
